1. Who we are
MeetAnyCharacter.com ("MeetAnyCharacter", "we", "us") is operated by the business identified on our contact page. You can reach us at support@meetanycharacter.com.
2. Adults only (18+)
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if higher. By using the service you confirm this. All characters are fictional adults generated by AI and do not represent real people. We remove accounts of anyone found to be under age.
3. Your account
Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. One person per account. We may suspend or close accounts involved in abuse, fraud, chargeback abuse or violations of our Community Guidelines.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use MeetAnyCharacter to create, request or share content that:
- depicts or sexualises minors, or characters presented as minors;
- depicts real, identifiable people without their consent;
- is illegal where you live or in the EU;
- infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or likeness rights.
You are responsible for the prompts, characters and content you create.
5. AI-generated content
Replies, images and videos are generated automatically by AI models. They are fiction, can be inaccurate or unexpected, and are not professional, medical, legal, financial or psychological advice. Characters are not real people and cannot have real relationships with you.
6. Energy
Energy is a virtual in-app credit used for chats, photos and live photos. Energy has no cash value, cannot be exchanged, transferred or withdrawn, and is not a payment instrument. Costs per action are shown in the app before you spend Energy. Free daily Energy and reward Energy may change or end. If a generation fails on our side, the Energy is returned.
7. Subscriptions and purchases
Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown including applicable VAT where required. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account; access continues until the end of the paid period.
8. Characters you create
You keep ownership of characters and text you create. By publishing a character you give us and other users a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and interact with it on the service, and to show it in promotion of MeetAnyCharacter. You can unpublish or delete it anytime. We may remove any character at our discretion.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features, characters, models and Energy prices may change. For material changes to these terms we give notice in the app or by email; continued use afterwards means you accept them.
10. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.
11. Termination
You can delete your account anytime. We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms. Unused Energy expires when an account is closed for a violation.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Consumers keep the protection of mandatory laws of their country of residence and may bring claims there. EU consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
